There are 4 Workshops in this series, running from April 8 – 29:
Microsoft Word (Intermediate): During this session, participants will explore formatting techniques along with how to use and edit tables.
Job Search Using Mobile Devices: With hands-on guidance from the facilitator, participants will explore popular job search platforms and learn how to create and share files from their mobile devices. By the workshop’s conclusion, participants will feel empowered to tackle their job search confidently and efficiency on their mobile device.
Poster Design with Canva (beginner): Participants will be introduced to the fundamental tools and features of Canva, and will explore various design elements, such as images, shapes, and text, and discover how to arrange them within their posters.
Privacy and Security on Facebook: Participants will learn how to control who can see their posts, manage their profile information, and adjust privacy settings for photos and other content. Additionally, the workshop will provide insights into recognizing and avoiding common online threats, such as phishing scams and fake accounts.
