This International Youth Day, Burnaby Neighbourhood House celebrates the strength of newcomer youth shaping our community!
Did you know nearly one-fifth of newcomers to Canada are youth ages 15–24 (Statistics Canada)? While young newcomers come from diverse backgrounds, they share common goals: connection, belonging, and opportunity.
Our Newcomer Youth Program offers a welcoming space for youth to build confidence, gain leadership skills, and connect with peers.
