South House Street Party is Just One Week Away!

The countdown is on! Join us for our South House Street Party on Tuesday, July 28, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 4460 Beresford Street, Burnaby.

Bring your family, friends, and neighbours for an afternoon of community, fun, and connection. Enjoy delicious food, live entertainment, games, activities for all ages, and the chance to meet others in the neighbourhood.

Whether you’re new to the community or have been with us for years, everyone is welcome. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Drawing Group Drop in

Ready to unleash your inner artist? Whether you’re a seasoned pro or haven't picked up a pencil since grade school, come join our new Drawing Group Drop-In for a fun, relaxed afternoon with coloured pencils and pens! This welcoming space is open to all skill levels and is a fantastic opportunity to meet neighbours and exchange inspiration. The group meets every Monday from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM in the Jubilee Room at the South Burnaby Neighbourhood House (4460 Beresford St, Burnaby).

The Burnaby Community Action Team (BCAT) aims to reduce stigma around substance use through a diversity of initiatives such as anti-stigma workshops, presentations, naloxone training, and resource tables at community events, and improve the well-being of people with lived and living experience through regular outreach activities (involving the provision of harm reduction kits and daily supplies).
