New Grant Helps You Stay Socially Connected – Responsive Neighbourhood Small Grant (R-NSG)

Post 7 of 334

To reduce social isolation during COVID-19, thousands are already self-organizing online 🖥 to support each other out of their own pockets. Why not apply the Responsive Neighbourhood Small Grant (R-NSG) that you could earn💵?

  • Grants of up to $500
  • **Projects must comply with public health orders for physical distancing** ✅ Connect people socially or involve sharing skills or talents with each other through online platforms
  • Out of your entire project budget, you may spend up to $350 providing honorariums for those sharing skills. This includes yourself.
  • Examples of such projects such as hosting a webinar, teaching an exercise class, etc.

📍 What happens to my existing 2020 application
We will no longer be accepting new applications for the regular Neighbourhood Small Grants stream. If you already submitted, your community coordinator will contact you soon. You may discuss with them how to modify your project to suit the Responsive NSG criteria or opt to defer your project to when physical distancing requirements are lifted.

📍 How to Apply:
Applications are now open and will be accepted on a rolling basis. Applications are reviewed as they are submitted. Alternatively, you can contact us by emailing📧 brankv@burnabynh.ca if you have questions or need help with applications.
