Cyanotype Interactive Art Piece [STRIDE]
January 30, 2021 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
by Rebecca Heyl
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process invented in 1842 that captures a shadow image as a cyan-blue print. It can also be called a Sun Print, Solar Print or Shadow Print. For this interactive art piece we will be creating a cyanotype on a large piece of fabric as a community.
To participate please sign up for one of the time slots and bring along something from your garden, for example: a pine cone, leaf, twig, or rock. It should be a natural object that can easily go back to nature.
This event will take place outdoors, in a socially distanced manner with only one individual or bubble at a time.
The final Cyanotype Interactive Art Piece will be unveiled on Zoom at 5pm the same day.
